CLINTON MORRISON has completed his move from Crystal Palace to Coventry.
The striker's contract had expired and he joins on a free transfer after being told he is not part of Palace manager Neil Warnock's plans for next season.
MORRISON spent the last few weeks on trial with the Sky Blues and impressed boss Chris Coleman enough to sign him on a two-year contract.
"I'm delighted to finally have got a deal done," said MORRISON. "Me and Leon McKenzie were strike partners at Palace and he's been calling me all the time telling me I should sign and I'm really pleased.
"I can score goals at this level and now I'm looking forward to doing that for Coventry so I'm hoping I can play some part against Norwich on Saturday."
Coleman was delighted to land the Republic of Ireland forward who scored 16 goals for Palace last season.
"Obviously it's fantastic we've managed to get CLINTON over the line," said Coleman. "He's spent a lot of time training with us and we've made no secret of the fact we wanted him to join us.
"He's a proven goalscorer in the Championship and another example of us trying to add quality to the squad."
